Atlanta’s own Cee-Lo Green has received several Grammy nominations for his album “The Lady Killer”. I have found his CD to be one of my top favorites to listen to throughout 2011 and I have yet to neither put it down nor tire of his songs. Each single he’s released has been explosive and successful and he has been able to create songs that jump out at you. The soulful artist’s song renamed “Forget You” introduced him heavily into rotation last fall.
Macon, GA native Jason Aldean also received a Grammy nomination for his country album. The Grammy nomination is for the best country album of the year and he said this is what music artists dream of their entire career. He’s received three Grammy nominations for his album, “My Kinda Party.” The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced live on station CBS, February 12th at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
