Atlanta has had many spectacular concerts this year driving fans wild with excitement. However, there are several concerts that have captivated concert goers more than anything.
1. Sade
Sade has had a longstanding career for decades and she doesn't tour all too often. Her July concert at the Philips Arena showed how her music is the ultimate perfection and she does it with so much class which blows her fans away every time they see her in concert. Songs from her new album such as, “Soldier of Love”, and classics from older albums felt as if they were timeless and ageless. Her soothing voice and delivery pulls her fans in and takes them on a relaxing peaceful journey.
2. O.M.D.
O.M.D. performed at the March at the Loft at Center Stage. O.M.D. ultilized the stage and took fans through a New Wave nostalgic and enjoyable journey with their 80s hits including the songs, "Telsa Girls", "Dreaming", So in Love", and my favorite song of theirs, "If You Leave." They sang songs from their 2010 album "History of Modern."
3. Duran-Duran
Duran-Duran performed during April at Center Stage. They had a spring release of their 13th album titled, "All You Need is Now." The band has proved time after time their longevity in the music business and continuously having pop song hits. The concert completely sold out within several minutes. Duran-Duran did return to the Chastain Park however their concert was found not be as entertaining and hard to top from their previous concert.
